dude, ur reaching. once again jeff never said anyone asked for 100 mil. and just because u have frikkin bob arum and roger mayweather saying some ****, doesnt make it factual. there is no proof, at all, that floyd demanded 100mil. he even said he didnt. but if ur gonna believe bob frikkin arum, then there really is no reason to even waste my time.Like I said, read the man's comments again. He makes it clear that he thought $50 million per fighter was not only doable but that it would be easy. He also makes it CLEAR that one fighter asked for $100 million for himself, you can claim I'm making this up or you can read what the man said himself, on record, verbatim. Now the only question would be, which fighter demanded the whole pot for himself? Now consider:
But **** Arum, he's a dirty lying scumbag...
Mayweather Sr says Floyd's $100 million demand Unrealistic
So Jeff Mayweather says he was involved in the talks early and he thought $50 mil per fighter could've been done easily, but once talk started about $100 mil per fighter he deemed it unrealistic. Mayweather Sr said his son's $100 million demand was unrealistic. And ole Uncle Roger Mayweather when asked point blank what it would take to make the fight said "$100 million dollars".
But yeah, I'm just reaching. Football time, yall have a wonderful evening

Its not a surprise if Pac fights Cotto but i am gonna be disappointed. Hopefully its Bradley. I don't mind Pac fighting Peterson also.Comment

Marquez is the most logical choice, but come on man, mix it up; and put in Peterson and Bradley in the mix. Top Rank signed or trying to sign these guys for a reason Marquez and Pacquiao doesn't have much left in their careers, let these guys have a shot while it is still meaningful.
Pacquiao-Peterson vs Marquez-Bradley or vice versa.Comment

Pacquiao won't fight Cotto at 154 lbs, I'd be surprised. Rumors initially were that he would want Cotto to fight at 150, maybe even all the way back down to 147.the only fight should be Floyd Mayweather and Pacquiao knows it. a Cotto II, Marquez IV and a Bradley fight will be still there despite the outcome with Floyd..... But knowing how Top Rank works, I wont be surprised if Pacquiao picked Cotto at 154 to be held at the Garden on the eve of the Puerto Rican Parade on June 9th.
If he picked Cotto at 154 lbs, that's a legit B+ fight. But, if it's at 150 or 147, it's worse than Floyd fighting Alvarez RIGHT NOW at 154. It then becomes a C-/C fight in my book. Miguel is a solid 153-154 lb Super Welterweight right now, he has out grown 147-150.
That being said, Bradley is Pac's best fight, besides Floyd obviously. I highly doubt Arum will risk Pac against Bradley right now though. I think he's more inclined to make Pac-Bradley in late 2012/early 2013, so that IF Bradley beat Manny, Arum would have a knew star in his stable again.Comment

Yep, good point. ok well I hope its not true then.of course it will be good for him(who wouldnt want to avenge there loss?) but I'd rather him not take it. At least not right now. Fighting Pacquiao means he will probably be getting into another contract and they will probably pick his next 4-5 fights again. We will never see Floyd-Cotto, Alvarez-Cotto, Cotto-Kirkland or Martinez -Cotto while being under top rank. Instead, we will get Cotto-Pacquiao, Cotto-Vanes, Cotto-Chavez jr and probably Cotto-margarito III. Thats all I'm saying.Comment
