I really am tired of hearing and reading about Floyd Mayweather. He's NEVER going down in history as a legend as were guys like Leonard, Hagler, Hearns, Duran, Arguello, Dela Hoya, and Mosley.

He will go down as a greater fighter than De La Hoya and Mosley. He will also be compared to the other fighters you mentioned, no doubt about it. Not saying he's the greatest but he will be talked about and compared more than the last two you listed.

I think Bob will put Pac in there with someone that Pac will look his best against. It will restore a little more confidence in Pac and get people thinking again he just might beat Floyd. According to recent interview with ESPN.com, trainer Freddie Roach selected Lamont Peterson as the top pick on his list for Manny Pacquiao. Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum is meeting with Pacquiao to select an opponent for late-May or early June. Among the four selections, Roach has Peterson at the top of his list, followed by Timothy Bradley, Miguel Cotto and then Juan Manuel Marquez.

I don't think Freddie really wants Khan fighting Peterson straight away. It is going to take a lot of time to build Khan's non existsant inside fighting technique if it ever ets built at all. Without that in place the best Khan can really hope for is a not very convincing scrappy messy points win that will further demonstrate the deficiencies in his armoury and that will do nothing to advance his case for a Mayweather fight.
Roach wants Khan to get his title ack then set up fights that make him look good to get the Mayweather mega pay day on track. If Peterson fights Manny I think Khan will be relieved providing he picks up the WBA title by default.
