    WBA junior middleweight champion Miguel Cotto is now a free agent and says he's ready to entertain offers for major fights against Floyd Mayweather Jr., Manny Pacquiao, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and Saul Alvarez. Cotto and his team of Bryan Perez and Gaby Peņagaricano are currently in Mexico City to participate in the program Golpe A Golpe on ESPN Deportes.

    He might fight Floyd by virtue of his former stable mate being unwilling to do so. It would be a nice way to stick it to Arum by cutting him out as the fight would do 1.5 or more.

      Who would conduct an interview with Cotto right now and not make Mayweather the focus? Ridiculous.

          boxing journos are the poorest journos alive. They ask terrible questions, have poor grammar and can barely put a coherent thought onto a piece of paper.

              id love to see the Cotto Mayeather fight. Thats if floyd dont duck manny this time or CANT make nego work out. IF Pac/May does work out id still like to see Cotto /Floyd after Manny beats Floyd!

                  Cotto is my favorite active fighter ans as much as I would love this fight I can't. Plain and simple I refuse to put another dime in May's pocket if everyone else wants to get rapped be my guest. That's why I been preaching to Boycott all these guys because we are being robbed By Arum, Pac, and May of the biggest in history. I want to be a part of it I don't care if it turns out to be a dud just like "Fight of the Millenium" I just want to see it.

                    Nobody but Puerto Ricans want to see Mayweather vs Cotto. The only other fans who want to see it are those with some sort of agenda.
