Probably, I think he can still be a healthy WW but fighting at 154 must feel really comfortable for him. All he has to do is stick to the game plan. I'm sure at this point, considering Mosley's success in exposing Pacquiao weakness, same with Marquez, I think Cotto knows perfectly well what he has to do in there. It's not like he wasn't competitive in the early going, though that second knock down really took a lot out of Cotto.

Once again you have proved that you're as big of an F'ing moron as the worse of the extremist Pac fans. I swear if I ever use the ignore function you would be the first moron that I would ignore. Before yessir, tatang(whatever), Puga and the rest of the idiots. Its all relative to weight , Cotto would have trouble at 147 now , 150 for him is probably perfect but 154 would be good for him as well , so it depends on what weight they fight at , 145 Pac does the same again 150 Cotto wins , its not just Pac and Cotto on face value .Comment

, good God. Pac doesn't suck as a fighter. Was he overrated, overhyped? Sure...But, he he's not a garbage fighter. He still a damn good fighter that doesn't want any of Floyd. But, that doesn't mean a past prime Cotto(even at 154) or just any ol' contender can beat him.

Pacs biggest advantage was his speed. His speed advantage at 150+ would be even greater.
Cottos punching power may be very slightly increased at 150, but it's mostly irrelevant.
In my opinion, pac is just all wrong for cotto.Comment

He's a great fighter depending on his opponent's approach, once his opponent employs movement...his greatness greatly deteriorates and frustration kicks in. Not any boxer or contender, I wouldn't say that, but Cotto can box well enough to pull it off in my opinion.

I agree but I think his flaws can't really be changed. He gets winded, lacks great defense and his chin is up and down. He may be better against Pacquiao but ultimately those flaws would be his undoing again, I think.Cotto's main issue has always been his inability to put it all together. If he decides to bring his right hand, circle Pacquiao, stay off the ropes and fight a disciplined fight, that alone could make a world of difference. Lets not forget he has a better more experienced trainer this time too. I disagree strongly with those who think Cotto doesn't stand a chance against Pacquiao in the rematch.
I agree that Cotto is past his prime, but as you said, him exorcizing the demons, we may no longer see constant flash backs of Cotto-Margarito I every time Cotto faces a tiny bit of adversity. I think counting Cotto out is overrating Paquiao's skills again.Comment
