No I'm talking about Pac. Was he legit opponent before he got a beating from Pac? Sure....Is he legit opponent to elite fighters after getting the beating that he received after Pac? No.
He now has to earn and show that he deserves to be in the ring against elite fighters. He hasn't done that. Beating the likes of Mayorga and Margarito 2 shot to pieces fighters doesn't show anything. Let him fight Canelo, let him fight Kirkland, even if he goes life and death against those fighters and gets W in a very close fight. I would be OK with a Floyd fight. But, coming off 3 wins like you like the mention and 2 of them being against shot to pieces Mayorga and Margarito and to make it worse that who he has fought in the last 2 years. Then no is a joke of a fight.
Maybe if Floyd was coming up from JWW or LW I might be OK with it. But, Floyd "don't call me Jr" has been a WW for the last 6 years. Fighting Cotto at this stage? Nah....But, again lets be fanboys and justify and make excuses for the fight.
I don't know why you left to get your grub on when you were eating good in this thread. However, if there is any fighter, based on past and present credentials, who deserves another shot at redemption it's Miguel Cotto. I know he has little chance of beating either Mayweather or the ducker who will remain nameless. But you could say the same for pretty much every opponent not named Martinez. Cotto is a big name, has exorcized his demons and although well past his best, is still formidable, has taken on the best opponent available more often than not and dammit is one of the sport's few good guys. Margarito may have been shot but it took a lot for Cotto to face that demon and he deserves to be commended. He wouldn't be my preference but if the fight we all want doesn't occur, Miguel Cotto isn't a bad consolation prize.
Okay genius, for a change, try responding with an intelligent answer to this one:
First you questioned the cut, now you're questioning the doctor and the observation of Miguel Diaz. The cut was stitched in three layers, top, middle and bottom. It was reported that it required 23 stitches. Those are the facts, not opinions. Yet you are still insisting that it's no big deal. Is your opinion the valid one?
I have entertained your questions enough. Pursuing the subject any further will not bring this fight any closer.
Therefore, I will ask you again and this goes to all those who insist on MAY 5 OR NO FIGHT; what's so important about that date when it will not in any way harm Floyd to change it but in fact would give Pac the peace of mind about his cut?
Why kill the fight just because Floyd does not get his way?
Pac agreed to the test, so why not give this one to him and make this fight finally happen?
It's that simple.
Pac also said he would take the smaller share and he would fight floyd anytime, anywhere. His recent statements shows he is a liar and no better than Bob Arum. Anytime and anywhere includes MGM Grand on May 5th does it not? Lets see if your brain will allow you to answer that question.
Come on, keep trying.
It's getting more entertaining.
