  • There is not enough time to promote this event, Arum says. And thinks it will be perfect in November.

Yeah, except Floyd goes to Jail in June and won't be out until August or even September, to do the Press Conference tour and still train. It will be a Rush-Fest once again. Since the guys jail sentence was postponed, just do it, or we'll be waiting until May 5th of 2013 for another opportunity. And by that time, maybe Pacquiao will be on a tight leash because he is running for Governor or some other ****.

And, again it's a fact that Pac said the cut is fine and there's no problem. It is a fact that Arum said he would do JMM IV on May 5 when he thought Floyd Jr was going to jail. It is a fact that the surgeon is Arum (step)daughter significant other.

There's nothing wrong with May 5. I would be OK if they wanted to move the date. If Arum wouldn't had said that he would be willing to do May 5 for JMM IV and if Pac wouldn't have said that the cut was fine and no problem. But, since they did your argument is moot and shows that Pac is ducking the fight.

I hope Cotto-Canelo gets made. Just so Floyd has no choice but to once again go out of his way to make this fight agree to late May. Just to have Arum say June 9(like he has insinuated in doing so). And, then you faggots like little fanboys defend that crap.
I gave you the possible reason why May 5 could be risky for Pac. You disagree. We argue some more.

I said that this debate is turning into another issue similar to the testing issue which delayed the fight for two years. Pac finally agreed even if there was no proof. One roadblock gone.

Now it's the fight date. I said that like the testing, this cannot be proven either way. Debating this longer than necessary is a waste of time. It is once again jeopardizing the fight.

This time give Pac the benefit of the doubt. Changing the date will not put Floyd at any disadvantage. Problem solved. The fight happens.

      Approved?

I get it, you won't be happy unless its vs Pac the coward or Martinez who has a fight in March at MW. You need to learn to accept that neither fight is happening.

So now Mayweather has to fight someone.... I'm sure you can gather that much.

Give Pac the benefit of the doubt in what? Pac won't be in any more of a disadvantage in May 5 then he would be at the end of May.

Again I get it, like a fanboy we need to make excuses to justify a joke of a fight. I'm sure you can gather that much.

Was Pac vs Cotto a joke of a fight?

Are you talking about before or after the beating he took from Pac?

                  Did you mean Margarito?

I'm talking about the Cotto that had a title and signed to fight Pac.

No I'm talking about Pac. Was he legit opponent before he got a beating from Pac? Sure....Is he legit opponent to elite fighters after getting the beating that he received after Pac? No.

He now has to earn and show that he deserves to be in the ring against elite fighters. He hasn't done that. Beating the likes of Mayorga and Margarito 2 shot to pieces fighters doesn't show anything. Let him fight Canelo, let him fight Kirkland, even if he goes life and death against those fighters and gets W in a very close fight. I would be OK with a Floyd fight. But, coming off 3 wins like you like the mention and 2 of them being against shot to pieces Mayorga and Margarito and to make it worse that who he has fought in the last 2 years. Then no is a joke of a fight.

Maybe if Floyd was coming up from JWW or LW I might be OK with it. But, Floyd "don't call me Jr" has been a WW for the last 6 years. Fighting Cotto at this stage? Nah....But, again lets be fanboys and justify and make excuses for the fight.

You're still insisting on pursuing this issue. You keep saying you don't buy it. I keep telling you that this issue is becoming another roadblock which can be argued either way. Somebody has to give way.

Are you OK to the possibility that Pac might just have an issue that can hinder his performance? Are you not amenable to giving him the benefit of the doubt? If you're not, are you then implying that you are in favor of giving Floyd a possible major advantage going into this fight? A fight of this magnitude? Even if the odds are slim whether Pac's cut is still an issue, shouldn't we go for caution?

Three weeks extension is not a big thing for Floyd, not in terms of physical harm anyway. A minor irritation perhaps, nothing more.

What I have been trying to do here is to make you and the rest look at the bigger picture. An extension of three weeks is not ducking. Sure, it is not conforming to Floyd's demand, but it is neither a way to avoid the fight.

Give Pac that concession and the fight happens. And that is the paramount objective in this drama.
