“He’s the one who has to say yes. The reason is because he talks to a lot of people. He has a lot of representatives. If he takes the fight, he can make $50-to-60 million. That’s how much he can make.”

“I want to fight him. This is the fight the world wants. Mayweather wants a guaranteed purse, so what he has to do is get a promoter who can give him the guarantee,” said Pacquiao.

“I don’t have problems getting a guarantee because I have a promoter who will give me my guaranteed purse. If he gets a guarantee, then we are going to share the revenue on a 50-50 basis.”
Did he really say May 5th?

floyd is paying a bunch of lawyers millions of dollars to settle his numerous court cases. that's why he needs the pac fight desperately. yet he can't even pick up the phone and enter the negotiations amicably.

Imagine all the hate coming from the fanboys because Mayweather would have to select someone other than Pac on May 5th.

Yet them fanboys attempt to justify Pac's ducking which results to Mayweather having to select someone other than Pac, like Cotto or Alvarez.

I bet some of these idiots have their foot in their mouths after Mayweather said he didn't even know who "the ghost" was. Some swore he was fighting him. Then again, they said the same thing about Morales....

Same shyt different restroom... but at the end of the day everyone knows Team Pac/Bob Arum are doing everything to duck this fight. I wish Pac would grow some balls and stops being such a fairy coward towards Bob.
Meh...Fighting Cotto is whack TBH. It's a whack fight. It's better than Guerrero and Canelo but it's still garbage that does nothing for his legacy. And, really proves nothing at all. But, again better than Guerrero and Canelo. If it's on HBO cool but to get charged 60 bucks at the very least for that fight? Ugh....

And, Floyd knows who Guerrero is that's just hyperbole on his part. I see what he's saying but one should take that figuratively instead of literally.

And, it was GBP who threw the names of Guerrero and Morales out there. So people ran with it. But, it's not like people got those names out of thin air. Blame GBP for that.

But, yea Pac ducking Floyd is the most blatant duck since Bowe of Lewis.

You aint gotta see this...But not everyone is a Pus$y. If you must ignore someone on the net because youre not smart enough or man enough to debate..than ignore the world. Because Not everyone agrees and see things YOUR way. lol what a b!tch

            Facts are facts.

Setting a may 5 date, is in fact the ultimate duck. He's already got a GBP mexican lined up, and furthermore, setting a date without even consulting pac shows he has no intentions at all of fighting pac. Pac singlehandedly accounts for over 50% of the entire ppv revenue in 2011, which is twice as much as floyd. So if anyone sets dates, its pac and thats all there is to it.
Stop lying you clown. When Team Mayweather called Bob, Bob said no. Since then Bob has given multiple excuses as to why the fight can't be made. It's the same shyt different restroom story by Bob....

Not true at all. A lot of celebrities have trouble with the IRS. But, that rarely has to do with how smart you are as a businessman. Matter of fact look at how he has comeback from that loss? Once again proven how smart of a businessman he is.

The Mayweather name is a brand bro. He made it into that. Like Oscar did. It's smart business.

I agree. This is too embarrassing for Pacquiao. The media are calling him out on his excuses. I think he will be forced to fight because the avenues of escape are disappearing one by one.

                    Speaking of the word duckin:

-Summer 2010, Arum said of negotiating with Floyd, Oscar even said something about it. Floyd and his team there was no negotiation. Then HBO's presedent at that time, Greenburg, said there was.
-Around the Pac-Mosley fight, Floyd said he has no intention of fighting. Then after Pac-JMM 3 was announced, his suddenly back.
-Floyd said Pac is next during the media tour of the fight against Ortiz. Then later on when asked by a reporter about Pac being his next fight, Floyd said he never said it and the media is putting words in his mouth.

Floyd might have said he reserved MGM Grand on May 5th but he never said his next opponent is.

If Floyd really wants it, then he should tell his advisor/manager to approach Pac's team to make the fight. But its all talk and tweet.

Any man that beats on women a threatens children and scares them needs their head beat in...and Manny is the one. Floyd cant beat him or hed already been in that ring with him. He thinks his 0 on his record is all that will make him bigger paydays.... lol
