And May 5th can be moved. Just because its already been set dont mean ****. It can be reset as easy as it was set before.
Your opinion that Manny needs Floyd to redeem himself imo is funny! They're are other big fights manny can do and sadly a part4 with JMM if needed. Every fighter has lacklusters from time to time. Remember Ricky Hatton and Luis Collazo? It happens in this sport. He wont retire on JMM hes got fights left in him and Floyd to Manny is just another job to do. Floyds not the greatest of all time lol!

That's the thing. They don't need to fight at the end of May. The reason for end of May disappeared when Arum said he will do MGM. There is no reason for end of May. But there are reasons for May 5th. I don't care either what date they fight on. But if the reason for the fight not happening are these date issues, they should just go with the more logical date. You know, the one with reasons. Get me?

Yes I agree with you that all fighters have lackluster performance. But that wasn't just some lackluster performance. That was 3 lackluster performances from Pacquiao from the same opponent. And not just that. If Floyd were to retire now and Manny were to retire now, given each of their last performances AND how the media is depicting Pacquiao and his team...I'd much rather be Floyd. Which is why Manny needs Floyd. He can't go out like that.

i see your logic on the date. Youre right..If for some reason it didnt happen for some reason...what was wrong with the 5th! In the same note..It doesnt mean that anyone is ducking anyone. Like i said they can always fight next year..id be fine with that. as long as im hear on this earth.... ill wait to see it.
Also If the fight CAN be made later in May and floyd says no....we have another issue. Meaning it makes no difference 12th, 19th and 26th...isnt gonna hurt. And it will still bring sick $$$$ around the table. PPV will sell no matter what day. Seating well if need a bigger or more seating for more money..i can understand that too. Oh...Manny dont need Floyd...hes not retiring...lol

You're ok with the fight happening next year? Imo any real boxing fan wants that fight now. We wanted it 3 years ago.

Honestly, the longer this fight holds off, the more riskier it is. If you are 40 years old in boxing, you are a grandfather. And Floyd is almost 35. I feel like at any time one of these two fighters can lose to a younger fighter. If one of these fighters lose their next fight (if it's not each other), the spark dies. I mean, Pacquiao has been saying something about leg cramps his past two fights. I don't know if that's a sign of old age or just consequences from previous battles, but if they want to showcase their best performance, they'd better do it when their body is able. That's why I don't even want to wait a year.

Post fight press conference, finances after the fight and time to recover.

The legal system granted Floyd to fight on May 5th not late May.
Floyd has to keep his word or risk going to jail sooner rather than later.

Floyd is not in control here.
                That female judge is.
If the judge could accommodate Floyd by granting a five month reprieve, what's the problem with a few more weeks extension?

Had Floyd went to jail on Jan 6th, he woulda gotten out by late Feb. The late May/Early June date would be great.

agree 100%... I think the same way. People ***** about Guerrero or Canelo Alvarez Bradley even Cotto...are hungry fighters! And theyre nothing more dangerous than a hungry fighter. If someone like Ortiz or any one of them wee to bring about the upset...Pacquiao Mayeather is done! They could still fight , but to many new blames and faults and excuses will bee there to make it a illegitimate win for either one!
