He needs it for Mayweather-Pacquaio.

Mayweather has May 5th reserved. That's the date, all they have to do now is come to deal. Since the Stadium is now suddenly off the table.

And it doesn't matter if it's a Mexican Independence weekend.

Mayweather-Pacquaio could be on 25th Decemeber. It's the most important and lucrative fight obviously so make it happen on the date that Mayweather has had reserved as early as November last year.

Cinco De Mayo is not Mexico Independence day. That's in September. Mexico doesn't even celebrate Cinco De Mayo. That's an Americanized holiday.

Pac-Hatton, Mayweather-Mosley, and Pac-Mosley all did big bucks on Cinco de Mayo weekend. Neither one of them are Mexicans.

But, obviously Mayweather has had May 5th reserved as early as November last year If I'm not mistaken.

If the MGM is now ok with Arum. And the cut isn't issue. Which is seems, both have been cleared.

Then May 5th is open. It's the logical date and the date that's been reserved.

So obviously, make the fight happen on May 5th. There no reason for it not to be.
