    would you say whitaker was more skilled fighter then roy jones

    1. who was a more skilled fighter/talanted... whitaker or Roy Jones

      whitaker was more skilled/talented and the better accomplishments. both were freaks of nature tho.

          i wouldnt say a lot better. roy was better at some things. he was certainly faster, had more power.

            I'd lean on Whitaker for the more skilled but I think Roy Jones was more gifted. Although Whitaker was obviously very gifted himself.

            In terms of accomplishments, I'd say Whitaker by a fair margin.

            That's no disrespect to either fighter.

            Both are up there with the very best of all time in terms of skills and natural ability.

              i think prime for prime, if they were the same weight and they fought, do you think jones could really get pass pernell's defence?

                It's close. I don't know. Whitaker was a better technical fighter so I automatically think of him but skill? Jones was a machine offensively. I don't know.

                    I can't really say because obviously their strength, size and speed wouldn't be the same at other and unrealistic weight's so I find it impossible to make those kind of comparisons.
