Look through this thread and see all the Casual Fans claiming "Sergio is gonna F*** this guy up. I only started watching boxing cuz there was no soccer on but I guarantee you Sergio is gonna win cuz I hear about him all the time messageboards!!!!"

I guarantee you this will be a difficult fight for Sergio, because he sucks.

And after the fight, all of these Casual Fans will make up excuses like "Ohhh Sergio wasn't ready...oh Sergio is allowed to have a bad performance...oh wait soccer is back on I have to go..."

Blah blah blah. The reason why this will be a tough fight for Sergio Martinez is because he is an overrated internet creation.

Clapping my hands man! About time someone says it like it is! SERGIO struggled with BARKER but noone has ever said it but me. He's a hype job who is arrogant and afraid to challenge himself against the fighters his size. I don't hear him calling out WARD or FROCH or BUTE.

Easier fight stylistically for Martinez than Barker was. In that fight the Brit had a high guard like Joshua Clottey and was looking to get through the rounds. Martinez could have boxed rings round him and won on points like Pac elected to against Joshua but Martinez punched through the guard and eventually got the KO. It rescued what was up until then a fairly average performance.

Macklin comes to fight, I dont see any cute defensive moves from him and he is there to be hit. He may give it more effort than Barker but that will be his downfall. He cant expect to march forward as he did vs Sturm and expect Martinez wont have the answers tactically. The finish will come suddenly and brutally. Only way Macklin avoids it is if he goes into survival mode.
