I definitely think that there should be an investigation, but it wont surprise me if nothing comes of it and Ameen is exonerated.

Every interview that this guy provides, leads me to only conclusion, he's sketchy. He offers up his life story, but won't directly respond to the allegations...weird.

His actions might be innocent, but in a very close fight, with 2 point deductions to the champion, there should be zero distraction for the judges and the commission.

I don't think they should rule this a NC and stripped Lamont, they just need to order an immediate rematch.
Khan needs to earn his belts back inside the ring, not outside of it.

Why does he need to hold his tongue if he has done nothing wrong? He can come out and say he wouldnt hurt another "******" brother but nothing else? At the end of the day even if he was an accredited IBF or WBA official he left himself/integrity in question with his actions of that night, Instead of Peterson enjoying his win we now have him looking over his shoulders..

I agree though, Ameen needs to explain his actions.

I still have a gut feeling that this will all come to nothing, and Khan will not even get a rematch, let alone get the fight ruled a no-contest or the decision overturned.

Actually his past history says quite a lot. Sounds to me like he does what he does out of the kindness of his heart. Works for free to helps others. Who do you think has more of an agenda, a guy who helps out retired pro boxers in difficulty or Freddy Roach, the trainer of Khan?

The dude has been labeled a mystery man when its clear from the beginning that Roach knew who he was. He was made out to be some dark, mysterious boogy man of boxing. It shows a lot about Roach's piece of s**t character.

The guy sounds anything but a match fixer. If he wasn't at the fight Khan would just be b1tching about someone else. It would just be the ref in this position now instead of THE MYSERY MAN.

Khan should be thanking the mystery man for being there, its pretty much guaranteed he gets a rematch that he does not deserve.

Objectively why does he not deserve it? it was an entertaining fight in the opposition fighters hometown with a close decision

I do not believe that Peterson should be stripped.

I got no problem with a rematch, but only if sanctioned by Peterson.

He should not be stripped, or mandated, imho..... unless they find evidence of wrongdoing.

I'd love to see Peterson rematch Khan, with no mandate.

Ameen will be cleared of any wrongdoing

Some folks will agree with Ameen's explanation as to what/why he was conferring with the judges, and some will not

Peterson will not be stripped

Peterson will not be mandated

Peterson will not rematch Khan voluntarily, and he will cop flak for it

Peterson will rematch bradley in a unification bout

Not an educated guess, just a gut feeling, could be completely wrong.....
