The whole " just fire off a contract " thing..... is absurd.

That is not how things happen, boxing does not work like that.

Which is why Bob Arum's infamous "second" negotiations, were an absurd joke. He fired off a ridiculous proposal that had already been rejected, with no offer of negotiation, and then immediately slapped a 2-week deadline on it.

Absurd.

Not only is that NOT how the only official negotiation played out, I have never actually heard of a major fight being made that way. I would almost guarantee that has never happened, EVER.

Arum has been around boxing for 60 decades, and he knows full well what floyd is capable of and what would happen to pacquiao if they fought in may. Pacquiao woul most likely lose an arum would only pocket it around 15 million which isn't enough for him that's why he wants to build this stadium so bad to max profit because at the end of the day we as fans looking at it as a dream fight an Bob is looking at it as taking a big loss to a fighter he groomed..

arum may get by with one more fight if he can weather the storm now but after thhis time is time is up pacquiao is ready to cash out
