So he going to announce his next opponent without even talking to Pacquiao.

A fight with Pacquiao was never on the cards for May 5th, Floyd knew. If he really wanted the fight with Pacquiao, after he get the all clear from the judge, he says he wants to fight Pacquiao and try and get negotiations with Arum this week after he see Pacquiao in the Philippines.

But that didn't happen did it, we have names such as Canelo, and Guererro being mention and Guererro being favourite. No surprise it a Mexican holiday, the date was set because of the planned opponent, and that opponent was not Pacquiao.

and no surprise that Arum said he'd be open to a May 5th date with Manny as long as JMM was his opponent but not with Floyd. Did Cinco De Mayo have anything to do with that plan as well.

You do realize, and I honestly don't know why I'm even responding to you, that everything you say about Floyd and his opponents can be said about Manny and Arum?

You say Guerrero and Canelo, I say Arum had Bradley, Peterson, JMM and Cotto lined up without even discussing Floyd. Even after he knew that Floyd would be open to a fight on May 5.

Manny needs to sue Arum or himself for defamation of character if he doesn't make this fight happen. It honestly baffles me how some people continue to defend Pac. Ok, sure, Pac has said he wants to fight Floyd, but his promoter says completely otherwise. Anybody remember after the Marquez fight when he was asked by Mario Lopez if he wants to fight Floyd? He said he didn't know...He froze, looked at Arum..and Arum jumped in to answer that. I love Pac as much as the next guy, but that doesn't mean I can't admit this is some serious duckery by his team or him. Again, big Pac fan but I also can't delude myself into thinking Pac stands anything more than a punchers chance against Floyd... We can all hate Arum, but you have to admit that as a promoter, he's a dream come true. He's doing his job, and doing it well (we'll leave out the part about him swindling his fighters...).
