I think there's a desire out there for Mayweather to make a fool of himself like Pacquiao consistently does as it relates to his brain and promoter Bob Arum. Mayweather gets virtually nothing from fighting a guy like Guerrero except a greatly reduced paycheck and the suggestion of a fight like that is utterly ludicrous. Floyd tells his team he wants nothing but the biggest fights and Guerrero is the name they came back with? C'mon, stop it....

I'm not sure exactly how it works over at the site where these news originated (the markarian story), but you guys should keep in mind a lot of blogs/sites pay their writers based on hits generated.
It COULD therefore be completely made up bull**** just to stir up some drama and result in some money straight into the pockets of the writer.

Not saying it 100% is, just something to keep in mind. I've seen it before.

The prevelence of naiveté on this site is atrocious. Some quasi-writer/reporter says that he supposely received inside info from some phatom unknown and unnamed source that he created out of thin air and you guys just eat it up. I will bet all of my savings that Mayweather will not fight anyone named Guerrero on May 5th. Its just plain common sense which seems to be a rarity on this site.

his frame is small and he is thin

hes coming off a horrible injury and tough rehab

im a physical therapist, that rehab is about the most difficult i deal with as far as joints are concerned.

the shoulder rehab and recovery protocol is delicate and very slow paced

-Reports come out that Manny calls out Mayweather and states that he will put emphasis towards the big fight.

-All of sudden reports come out that Mayweather maybe fighting Gurerro.

Seems like the Mayweather camp wasn't planning on such a bold statement coming out of Manny and scrambling to cover their asses by leaking the information about Gurerro.

What happened to calling out the little guy? I would expect with the delay of the jail sentence he would be screaming for a Manny fight. That's if he had true intentions on fighting Manny.

Call it what you want Guerrero has won titles in multiple divisions. Canelo won his title against Mathew Hatton, who the hell has he fought. No B fighters thats for sure.
