    Cotto is the best option.

I can't see GBP allowing Canelo anywhere near Mayweather currently, besides why put them in the same arena when they can both be on the same PPV but Canelo can headline a different card in L.A. against Mosley (or somebody like that) and sell out.

Really nobody but Cotto makes the least bit of sense, so maybe that is a reason to throw the Ghost in there if they can't get Cotto to sign because if all the options suck anyways why not look good, and Floyd would certainly look incredible against Guererro.

Mayweather's competition rate if it's true.

Wont happen , Guerrero is not high profile enough for this fight , Ive never seen another fighter with so many unsubstantiated rumors geting so much airplay as it does with Floyd , this one is a small step up on Spadafora and Matt Hatton .

Exactly what i've been saying.Cotto/Mayweather Headlining with Canelo vs a decent* () opponent co-lining.It'll be a good PPV outcome with boxing's top-buying nations.

I think Robert just threw his name out there, and that Team Mayweather never had a thought his way.

It seems anyone (Khan, Robert) can talk their way into being considered an opponent. At no point was ANYONE saying Khan was a possibly opponent, yet alone threat, until he started opening his mouth.

The fights that should just naturally happen for Floyd based on points in their career, history, should have been's, name recognition, money made, etc:

                  1) Pacquiao (money)
                  2) Cotto (name & intrigue)
                  3) Martinez (most challenge)

Fights I wouldn't be surprised to be announced:

                  1) Erik Morales (they did say May 5th for "the little guy", for name, money, history of Morales beating Pac)
                  2) Marcos Maidana (busy with Devon, but they did say May 5th for "the little guy" and Maidana popped to mind as a possible opponent)
                  3) Robert Guerrero (may have talked himself into it?)
                  4) Peterson (maybe "the little guy" was Khan, but they'd then elect for Peterson?)
                  5) Bradley (doesn't make sense for Floyd, but he's a "little guy" and champ at 140)

Fights I wouldn't be mad at if not Pacman:

                  1) Cotto
                  2) Canelo (to continue a little run vs young talent)
                  3) Martinez

I'm a huge Floyd fan so I really hope this is just a smokescreen. If I had to bet I still think its Cotto. I think Floyd wants to shock us. I couldn't defend this fight if it goes through. I'll still buy it because I'm a fan but this is the biggest risk he can take because if he dominates like he should everybody will say this was supposed to happen.

For those asking, Floyd-Guerrero is NOT official at all. Could it happen? Sure. Is it made? No. #boxing
