      I think one thing people forget is how good his timing was and his defense was very effective. Crazy talk you say, yea he took lots of hits but he had a pretty effective cross-guard and I can't think of any boxer that caught punches as well as he did.

        There's a difference between using a guard and actually being effective with it.Foreman's level of defense was never any good,but it was outright shocking during his comeback years.I used to have a picture of him after the Alex Stewart fight saved on my laptop and he look's an absolute mess.
