I'm praying I'm wrong, but it just makes too much sense. It dawned on me that Floyd's lawyer promised the judge that Floyd would donate $100K to cancer research.

Guerrero is talking about donating a large portion of his purse to cancer research as well and for obvious reasons. They can sell Robert on his wife's struggle with cancer, and turn the entire promotion into huge PSA for cancer research and awareness, basically a charity event. The positive press benefits Floyd in the wake of the pending jail sentence, and may let him off the hook for the choice of opponent.

Just my thoughts, hope I'm wrong. We'll find out soon enough.

Nice story but i don't see it,, I think floyd can make more money fighting a Cotto or an Alvarez instead of using a Guerrero and a charity event... i really hope your wrong too..
