Vitali, a top 20 ATG???????? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Vitali has no business on a list like this. He's barely even a top 5 Heavyweight of his own era, the weakest era EVER at that.

If you rate Vitali as a top 20 ATG Heavyweight, you'd have to rate Byrd & Tua as well, seeing as they both have stronger resumes than Vitali.

You are under selling the Klitschko's. Vitali was kicking the s**t out of Byrd at the time of the shoulder injury. He was up on every scorecard by a huge margin. And Wlad dominated Byrd.

Byrd and Tua are maybe in the top 30, but that's it. You can't deny that even the Klitschko's, with the weakest era ever, are still probably just inside the top 20 HW.

        Rough list.

Not sure who I'd have where beyond that but people like Ezzard Charles, Wladimir Klitschko, Max Bear, Jersey Joe Walcott etc would fill 14-20.

Irrelevant. They were fighting a 12 round fight not a 9 rounder, so the scorecard at the point of his surrender is completely irrelevant. Not to mention the scorecards were WAY off and Vitali wasn't dominating shit. He was getting his ears effectively boxed off for half the fight. Close the boxrec tab, open up your youtube tab, and go watch the fight.

Byrd and Tua both undoubtedly have stronger resumes than Vitali. So there's no argument for rating Vitali above either.

I think in most cases the top 20s would include the same fighters, it would just be the ranking that would vary, and well, as always, that **** is opinion so no-one is right or wrong. I like the first list, my ranking would be different and I wouldnt have Vitali in there, Wlad has place in the top 20 though.
