So you're dismissing the Mayweather-Cotto rumours?

I only consider Pacquiao-Cotto II garbage if it's at 147-150 lbs. It would be then, no higher than a C fight. Mayweather-Alvarez at 154 would be a C+. While Alvarez is good and young, he hasn't really earned a Floyd fight. Maybe if he'd beaten Vanes or Angulo last year, or if he beat Kirkland, Cotto, or Lara, than I'd say yes.

But I will bet my life that Manny Pacquiao, if he fights Cotto again, will NOT fight him at 154 lbs, therefore it's a s**t fight to me. If it's at 154, Manny has my blessing int he sense that it's a legit fight.

Same goes for Floyd.

It's sounding more and more like we are going to see Mayweather-Alvarez at 154, Pacquiao-Cotto II at 147-150, and Bradley-Marquez at 140.

My post was more of Pac fighting in New York if he did fight Cotto. The way state taxes are there, it's not worth for guys like Floyd and Pac to fight there

But, I do think Pac-Cotto is more of a possibility. I think if Pac chooses Cotto, then that fight is going to happen. If Pac picks someone like Peterson or JMM then I can see Floyd-Cotto happen.

But, who knows...Maybe for the first time Cotto is more in the driver seat than both Floyd and Pac. And, he's the one that might have the last say on who he wants to fight. And, I don't know where his mindset is at.

I just know that Cotto is about to cash out.

I think if Cotto were to chose between Mayweather and Pac he'd pick Mayweather.

He's been in there with Pac, he's tasted what it's like to fight him. I don't think he wants that kind of beating again. When he can just fight Mayweather, who he will make just as much money against but take less of a beating.

He'll get dominated and embarrassed, sure. But that's better than the ass kicking Pac will give him.
