No way should this be turned into a No-Contest, is was a close fight, and Peterson edged it due to the 2 point deductions (legitimate point deductions).

There is a case for a rematch, due to it being so close, but there is no case for No-contest.

This is just GBP trying to bully the IBF and the District of Columbia Commission, cause their "rising" star lost and thus costing them a shot at Mayweather.

If it was changed to a No Contest, how much you wanna bet Khan will not give Peterson a rematch? I have seen bad decisions before and the fight was not that Controversial. There were plenty of Warnings and The Bogus Knockdown Khan Got made up for one of the Points Lost. It was a close fight and could of gone either way, But i have never seen such Complaining from a Man Who Ran For Most of the Fight. Copying Mannys Pacquiao move of putting your hands in the Air after getting hit does not mean those punches didnt count. Stop whinning and Get back in the Ring you *****Boy

they won't strip peterson come on.... that would be one of the biggest bull****s in boxing history. multiple judges and split decisions exist in pro boxing for a reason.

If there was any recent fight that deserved to be over turned in to a NC, it was the Lara/Williams fight. They found that the Judges themselves were incompetent enough to suspend them all FFS (including the one who had it even), but yet Paul Williams still has a W for that fight.

Overturning decisions like this is a slippery slope because once you start doing it then everyone is gonna want to have it done. "Oh, there was a woman in a bright pink dress sitting in the front row that was distracting my fighters eyesight. She was put there by the opponents promoter on purpose because they knew that blondes in low cut pink dresses make him pitch a tent. The Commision knew about this but did nothing about it!" GTFOH!

The only reason I think a rematch is risky for Peterson is because this time GBP and Schaefer will make sure that they only get judges they know will give rounds to Khan no matter what, and secure a ref that will let Khan do whatever he wants in the ring. The pulling down on the neck and head is the thing that is most irritating (Khan was even doing it when he hit Judah with the punch ending the fight). Khan always gets WARNED for it atleast 10 times a fight but they never do anything about it. I thought the 2 points penalty against Khan should have been for that instead of pushing but w/e.

If the WBA and IBF demand a rematch AND Joe Cortez is chosen as the ref for a rematch well then fogetaboutit......
