In theory what you're saying is correct but in reality it is the cute words of a child who doesn't understand how the world works.Well, assuming he does have a signed contract, a jail sentence takes precedence and extinguishes any other legal obligations. That's basic justice applied to all.
This is not about what's good for the economy and boxing. It's about the justice system where everyone should be treated equally--rich and poor alike.Comment

My point is, even with the excuse made to postpone the jail sentence, where the most economic gain for Las Vegas would be that mega-fight, Ellerbe isn't even talking about Pacquiao as that fighter in mind. That's even before Arum made his gay comments.
So that contractual obligation excuse may not only be an injustice, but a sham as well.Comment
