I will accept it......but I won't really like it. It's a C+ fight to me.
Yes, Canelo is young and coming into his own. But, Canelo isn't really prime yet and hasn't had a really big win yet. If he were to fight Canelo in may of next year, that'd make more sense. By that time, Canelo may have fought Vanes, Kirkland, Trout, etc.
I just won't really like the pick, that's all.
I think Floyd would win a wide UD against Alvarez, even at 154 lbs.
I don't like it too much. Alvarez needs to prove something big first. He's proved he's pretty good, but he hasn;t proved he's on the level of Floyd or Manny. To do that, he has to beat someone like Cotto or Kirkland, in my eyes at least.
