why doesn't Martinez just go dominate the Crusierweight division??

You must give pac ridiculous amounts of props

Sergio's not a big mw and is a 154'er for the longest. Floyd can fight 154 no prob.

People think sergio is easy work. Imagine the atg status floyd can gain by taling the 160 lb belt. He can come in at 156. The majorityof poster on here think sergio has nothing for floyd. Good, go make history floyd. Act like a great fighter for a change.

you ppl are crazy if you think cotto is a bigger threat than canelo.

cotto is a D- at best
            canelo is a solid B maybe B+

and martinez is out of the question, no point even mentioning him.

            bradley A
            pacquiao A+
peterson C- (hes a talented kid but way too green still)

floyd at 156? you kidding right? floyd doesnt have the frame to fight at MW, he wont be fighting anyone there and he shouldnt. whats the point? why would you want to see a fighter at less than half of his potential bcuz hes carrying way too much weight? id rather see him stay where hes comftorable, fight more often and make a claim for being the best WW in the last 20 years.

sergio is a solid MW. he was way like 172-177 two weeks ahead of his williams rematch, and he was in the shape of his life for that fight. floyd came in 4 lbs under the limit for a Jr.MW fight and looked far worse than usual.

theres no need for floyd to fight martinez, none whatsoever. might as well ask martinez to fight dawson, maybe he should "act like a great fighter for once" too.. hater..

Martienz at 154 would be an A though. He only weighs in at 158-159 right now, so him going down to 154/155 isn't too much, and he could rehydrate up to 160-164 easily, and not lose anything.

Martinez, Pacquiao, and Cotto are the best options by far. Bradley would be a good option, but there's no way Bob is letting Floyd get Bradley before Pacquiao, now that he owns Bradley's ass. Alvarez is an okay option, but to me, Canelo needs to prove something before he steps in with Floyd or Manny. He needs to beat someone like Kirkland, Cotto, Lara, etc. Canelo is not ready for Floyd and that's a C+ fight to me. Peterson and Guerrero, now way. They are both prime, but Lamont didn't even really beat Khan in my eyes and Guerrero has never even fought at 140 and is coming off surgery, sorry.
Martinez "makes" that weight (158-159), but he's weighed close to 170lbs in several of his fights, let alone he hasn't fought at 154 since the Pavlik fight. He even stated when they talked about a Cotto fight that he'd have a tough time making 154 and feels really good at 160 and maybe could make 157 (which is still Middleweight).

No, floyd should fight sergio at 154. 160 if he wants to shoot for legendary status.

The vast majority of floyd fans think he whoops sergio. Go do it and prove yourself.

Floyd's best weight isnt 154 and pac's best isnt 147 imo.

Sergio was 154 forever. Floyd went to 154 before, do it again for a guy who's not just a well past prike trinket holder like oscar was.
