And to those who really insist the May 5 date and treating it as a deadline, just remember that it is the same **** Arum pulled with the countdown thing. Mayweather fan's treated that one as an insult to the Pbf's ego hence it would most likely turn off Pbf. Likewise here, Pac would probably turn it off. His ego is as just as big as Pbf.

If they really want it, they should sit down and answer each other's calls. Else, this is all just a media circus. Still funny though. The hype is still alive.

Manny Pacquiao die hard fans and whoever else think that Floyd was/is ducking Pac is blindly in love with Manny. I have been following this whole fiasco since it started and all it took was these two quotes from Bob Arum to show me that he never wanted to make the fight.

Arum also indicated he would like Pacquiao to get through the Hatton fight before going up against Mayweather saying“I want Mayweather to stay there (in retirement) until September. The longer he’s out the more rusty he’ll be."

The only people Pac supporters should be cursing out and calling names is Bob Arum and Manny Pacquiao. Everyone else pretty much knew that Pac wasn't on Floyd's level. Don't believe me? Just ask Freddie Roach.....

Manny Pacquiao is letting Bob Arum destroy his image and popularity off of personal grudges and self gain. Guess this is why Oscar and Floyd left Bob Arum early in their careers. Arum intentions are only for Arum and if you let him get in the driver seat then he will drive you off of the cliff. Even Cotto got smart and didn't sign directly with him. Pac is a puppet and I think not only Arum don't want the fight but Pac too because when Pac put his foot down about Oscar, Hatton and Cotto. Bob did exactly what Pac wanted. He even put up some of his own money to make the Hatton fight happen. Manny Pacquiao hate to lose and look bad in his fights. Just look how he addressed his people at Marquez 3 who thought he lost. Funny how people (mostly Pac fans) said Floyd legacy would look suspect compared to Pac's. Look how the tables have turned.

What more does Floyd need to do to get the fight? He announces before Pacman vs Marquez fight that he will be headlining on May 5th and the MGM Grand. A obvious clear statement of intent from his part. If Manny would have beat Marquez convincingly then Bob Arum would have screamed about a Mayweather fight. But the truth that Bob has realised is that Manny is declining as a fighter and would get beat by Mayweather. Since Mayweather has returned he has walked his opponents down and counterpunched them over and over. Mayweather made Marquez look like a washed up fighter who took the fight for one last big payday. Against Pacman he looked like a world class fighter. Its funny that before this fight Freddy Roach was saying come and fight us like a man. Now he's mentioning Peterson!!! Nothing against Peterson he is an effective fighter who performs consistantly but he is no where near Manny's level, nor was mosley, margarito, clottey. The only fight you can credit manny for was Marquez 1 and 2, De La Hoya, Hatton and Cotto. All the other fights were made so he would win and look good.

You are nuts if you give Manny any credit for Hoya, Cotto, or Hatton.

Those guys were vulnerable and made to order, especially Cotto.

Pac gets no credit at all for Hoya and Cotto, and only a little for Hatton.

His resume' since 2008 is pretty much empty, and completely manufactured.

Nearly everyone who uses terms like Gayweather is on my ignore list. Its the Pac fans shrouded in boxing fan attire (minus real fans like Jro) that do what I'm referring to. The ones who are actually able to talk about other fighters but turn into a DeGrassi cheerleader when Pac is mentioned. Those are the ones who typically pull that sort of female behavior.
