Oh they'll find a way. You see some of them here now but as reality sinks in (for the 4,000th time) they'll disappear, then return, pretending it never happened while talking about how negotiations failed because of "both sides".

That does tend to be the pattern.

That kind of thing has happened as early as 2009.

I'm hearing on one side that they're hell-bent on the Cinco de Mayo date & looking at feeding Canelo to Floyd, on the other side 5th of May is too soon for Pacquiao to fight since his wounds need time to heal properly. This doesn't look good at all.

I hope both sides realize that sometimes when you wait too long, the eventual superfight will just go down the drain-- look at how the Lopez-Gamboa superfight blew up in front of Arum's arse.

What more does Floyd need to do to get the fight? He announces before Pacman vs Marquez fight that he will be headlining on May 5th and the MGM Grand. A obvious clear statement of intent from his part. If Manny would have beat Marquez convincingly then Bob Arum would have screamed about a Mayweather fight. But the truth that Bob has realised is that Manny is declining as a fighter and would get beat by Mayweather. Since Mayweather has returned he has walked his opponents down and counterpunched them over and over. Mayweather made Marquez look like a washed up fighter who took the fight for one last big payday. Against Pacman he looked like a world class fighter. Its funny that before this fight Freddy Roach was saying come and fight us like a man. Now he's mentioning Peterson!!! Nothing against Peterson he is an effective fighter who performs consistantly but he is no where near Manny's level, nor was mosley, margarito, clottey. The only fight you can credit manny for was Marquez 1 and 2, De La Hoya, Hatton and Cotto. All the other fights were made so he would win and look good.

Nearly everyone who uses terms like Gayweather is on my ignore list. Its the Pac fans shrouded in boxing fan attire (minus real fans like Jro) that do what I'm referring to. The ones who are actually able to talk about other fighters but turn into a DeGrassi cheerleader when Pac is mentioned. Those are the ones who typically pull that sort of female behavior. The idiots like puga stick around 24-7, too ****** to realize that they're ******.
