When I saw Oquendo beat Byrd at his own game, that whole "Byrd is a superior tactition to the rest of the heavyweights" bull**** went out the window. The Byrd that beat Tua and Holyfield is no more. Toney is the only superiority in terms of skill at heavyweight.

while this is very sad, because it's true. a prime Byrd, i'm talking mid to late 90's here was truly something special to see in terms of talent, the nights he knocked out james thunder and tim " the hebrew hammer " puller were some amazing performances, but, sadly, no one can stay prime forever

I am hit and miss on Byrd. Somtimes I think he is good, somtimes I don't. Byrd has good speed, good feet and lots of skill. Ruiz can't keep up with him. Ruiz can't handle good, quick and skilled fighters, Just look at Ruiz fighting Roy Jones Jr. and you will get the same results, a UD.

Who's got better skills? I think Byrd by a boring UD... hes too fast for ruiz, im not a byrd fan but i do admit hes quick, hes got stamina and heart.

didnt they fight once allready and I think Byrd got the boring ass decision win, man these are two worst ever title holders...
