Exactly what I was thinking. They always say power is the last thing to go I am guessing Mosley still has power and we all see that Kirkland still doesn't have the best defense for a chin like his. I can see Mosley beating Kirkland by KO.

Even though Mosley is on the very down side of his career why do some yall feel he needs to win a title to fight anyone? Mosley is above all of that at this point in his career. I can't get down with that line of thinking.

I think it's perfectly normal to expect a champion that was once great to continue to delude himself into thinking he can still compete. I was thinking about this interview with Michael Jordan towards the end of his career talking about how his mind told him he could compete with the younger guys but his body told him otherwise. There comes a time in everyone's life in which reality can no longer be denied.

Sometimes, perhaps oftentimes the last person to realize its time to hang it up is the champ. And who else would know how that feels but the champ himself?
