What the **** are you talking about, *****?

Have you actually seen that fight or are you just another boxrec freak?

That was a bull**** premature stoppage, Jackson was stood up perfectly fine and ready to continue the fight. It was a abit of a desperation left hook from McCallum, not even much power to it, and the referee jumped in and stopped it for no apparent reason. Jackson won the first round against McCallum, he looked quicker and sharper than Mike that night and landed the cleaner punches to win round one. Then, Jackson had McCallum out on his feet at the start of round two.

routine stuff? jackson's power is not routine. you need a good defense to beat him or a great chin

who put tito down? hopkins, vargas, carr, campas and probably someone I am forgetting... all of which in his prime and none of them is mentioned as an all time puncher.

who put jackson down? mccallum and it was a bs stoppage, and McClellan (when jackson was past his prime), whose power is ranked among the hardest p4p punchers ever.

McCallum didn't put down Jackson, or ever come close to putting him down.

McClellan was the first guy I saw to ever knockdown Julian Jackson.

                Coprrection.....

Jackson was indeed knocked down by McCallum.
McCallum followed a right with a very quick straight left (looked more like a jab than a hook) that dropped Jackson.
Jackson was not seriously hurt & got up very quickly.
McCallum moved him to the ropes & landed a decent series of blows.....but nothing that should have brought about the stoppage.
No one on this board has followed the careers of BOTH as closely as I have. McCallum floored him, period.

Still....McCallum was superior to Jackson, especially that very green version.
McCallum claims no one in all of his career hit him the way Jackson did in that first round.
