I'm also Donaire fan, but for this 1 I'll be rooting for My countryman Vazquez Jr & hope he wins..But knowing their skill level, ring smarts & experience & the level of competition they both have faced I have to keep it real & see that it's VERY difficult(not impossible but VERY difficult) for Vazquez Jr to win a decision or score a KO over Donaire & also realize that the chances of Vazquez Jr being stopped are VERY high.. Just hoping he pulls out the upset!!
Vazquez Jr. is my countryman too but we must face reality: There's no way in hell that Vazquez Jr. could win against Donaire. Vazquez Jr. isn't even close at Nonito's level. By the other hand I must say that I'm tired of Arum. For me he's a ricans hater and he use to sacrifice Puertoricans against his lucrative rising stars. He forced Cotto to face Pacquiao even when he knew that Cotto had no chance at all to win that fight. And now he wants to throw Vazquez away to the lion's den to be sacrifice by the lions. Shame on you Arum!!!

I'm calling the upset right now. WV2 will win this fight so don't act surprised when it happens...Nonito is way overrated, more so than Pwill was...

Great Move by Wilfredo Vazquez jr for traing in mexico.

Wilfredo is taking this fight very serious, he needs to, the kid has what it takes to be a really good top fighter. yah he lost to Arc but that guys a warrior and a very good champion at that, Wilfredo shouldn't feel ashamed for losing to him, considering he didn't have any amateur boxing carrier.

this is a tough fight for nonito...wv2 has the perfect style and personality as a fighter to give nonito a lot of trouble imo...
You could be right onto something. But it appeared to me Nonito was weight drained in that fight plus he busted his left hand. This fight is competitive because we just don't know.Donaire has fought most of his fight under the 122 division against midgets he's moving up against this stronger Rican.Anything can happen.Again competitive fight.

This is what wv2 needed. his problems in the arce fight were overconfidence and stamina, the loss should fix the first problem and training in toluca is a great way to work on his stamina

So you mean Vazquez will get beat much the same way margarito got destroyed by smaller SSM, Pacquiao, and Cotto? LOL

I wouldn't say Vazquez jr has no chance, but of course you would have to favor Nonito here due do experience. Don't be shocked if Vazquez jr pulls this off.

Concepcion weigh in 4 1/2 pounds over the 115 limit that fight.

If Arce was a warrior he should have stayed and defended his belt against Donaire and get his head rip off with straight right follow with a left hook.

@ Toluca he'll be over 8500' that will help his stamina, which was lacking vs Arce...no mention of whom he's sparring w/but some tuff Mex's around there...he'll have to box Nono & a win is possible but I don't think he will..
