I don't think WV2 is a pressure fighter at all. There is no way he can apply pressure any better than an actual pressure fighter IMO. He has decent power, but I dont see him better than Nonito in any department.

what do you call his style then ?...no one here said anything about wv2 being better than nonito...but i think it's obvious wv2 is bigger, better , stronger than concepcion which nonito did not look good againts...

not sayin nonito will lose either, i said it'll be a very tough fight...

WV2 is pretty fun to watch though, like Rocky Roman Martinez is fun to watch.

They both make a lot of mistakes but have pretty good power, and pretty much bring it every time.

I think he can and will improve, just hope he doesn't have anymore career defining ko losses before he gets there.

And Donaire will likely ko him because of his porous defense, but that doesn't mean he can't have a good career and improve esp with his d.

Im i the only one that thinks wvjr might pull out the upset? Styles makes fight and arce is a pressure fighter that dont care if he takes 2 shots in order to give 1 and nonito is not that kind of pressure fighter he looked horrible against his previous opponent that knew how to box in a way he looked like pac against jmm no plan b. wvjr is good boxer with decent pop i think he has all the hunger to prove himself after that loss and good for him to train in mexico if he goes into that high altitude mountains.

I feel like Donaire will be at the right distance to really tee of on WV2.

I don't think it's going to be a slugfest. I can see Donaire dictating the pace.

WV2 may get something on the inside but it won't happen too often.
I think Donaire is gonna box then let the hands go late when he's got WV confused.

I don't see WV2 walking him down with out severe retribution in the form of a huge hook frpm Donaire.

and they are brutal his uppercut is nasty too, WV2 has no where near the defense to avoid them and no one around that weight class is taking too many clean hard power shots from Nonito.

I don't know why Vazquez Jr wasn't training there(Toluca, Mexico) before cause that used to be his father's(ex-3 division world champion Vazquez Sr) old training grounds..His father had great conditioning & a lot of it had to do with training at that very high altitude in Toluca..Vazquez Jr's problem against Arce was that he ran out of gas, well at the end in the 12th round they both were gassed but Arce was the only 1 throwing arm punches & even thou they weren't really effective but it was enough to score points & have Vazquez Sr freak out & throw in the towel along with the water jug!! I'm also Donaire fan, but for this 1 I'll be rooting for My countryman Vazquez Jr & hope he wins..But knowing their skill level, ring smarts & experience & the level of competition they both have faced I have to keep it real & see that it's VERY difficult(not impossible but VERY difficult) for Vazquez Jr to win a decision or score a KO over Donaire & also realize that the chances of Vazquez Jr being stopped are VERY high.. Just hoping he pulls out the upset!!

This is the same guy that couldnt beat Arce right. He looked pitiful and slow. Easy win for Donaire.
