You do realise Calzaghe was a big puncher before he had all the hand troubles which forced him to adapt? He had Eubank down early.

Thus why he gets so much stick for slapping, he spent the best part of his career with the worst sort of injury.

He was a pretty big puncher, but did not punch with the technique of a ko artist, he always preferred to throw in combination, and later on he refined his technique further and would throw with less power, you would only really see him dig to the body.
