Marquez never brought the fight to Pacquiao, you can't win if you don't want to take the belt from the champ. I remember thinking in the first round "i can't wait to see a war", then after JMM went into counter puncher defense mode from the outset i thought "what the ***, is he gonna just aim to survive for the pay day?".

Pac won, JMM was scared, Nacho was scared (wanted to do just enough then run away and hope for victory, this was their gameplan), end of story.

Some rounds were close, but clear cut. Some were close and 2 punches swayed the rounds.

However Pac won on my scorecards by 2 rounds.

It's easy to say on TV that a fight should be scored one way or another, but in real life as what the judges see, and I believe Blue Ray is the closest to real life.

Sorry to say it but Pac won in a close fight, but it was clear.
I just watched it on a 52" **** & Olufsen with 17 speakers and Pacquiao got bum ****d by Marquez, 12-0 plus an extra 5 or so rounds for the ones that were robbed in the first 2 fights.
So sorry to say it but Marquez won by a massive margin, 17 rounds to 0.

JMM will do better against Pac than Floyd will do. Because Floyd will be 100% counterpuncher. But FLoyd must know 50% offense is neccesary.

Boxing is 50% offense and 50% defense. You cant counterpunch all night in defense mode and expect anything. The one who makes the fight is being offensive so gets favoured or at least should do.
Thats why FLoyd wont deserve no points victory just like JMM. JMM doing better than expected is his victory and can hold his head up high.
Huh? Boxing is scored by ring generalship, clean punching, and EFFECTIVE aggression. Marquez used the ring better and landed the harder punches. Sure Pacquiao was the aggressor but he wasn't very effective. You can't give a guy a fight simply because he came forward. Every poll I've seen on this fight had Marquez winning. Skysports had Marquez winning, and even Pacquiao's cheerleaders on HBO seemed unsure if Pacquiao actually won the fight.

The reason why Marquez did not get the decision is because Pacquiao is the big moneymaker. If Marquez was the bigger star I guarantee you he would've been awarded the decision.

Pac still landed and also made JMM miss too. Pac did not have effective solid blows as JMM, but he was always landing too. Fact.

JMM did not land clean shots in every round either.

Not only sky, other european broadcasts also gave it to Marquez unanimously. Hbo is alone on this one.

well i watched the bias primetime version first and thought Marquez won. (Every punch Marquez landed which are far and few the commentators would go crazy).

So i rewatched in HD with no sound and slow mo and actually score the fight round by round.
There were many round Marquez did nothing and just back track so all these rounds go to aggressor.

                    Pacman won no doubt.
