White guilt, does it exist in boxing?

White Guilt would not exist if racism didn't exist. What did Newton say? "With every action there is an equal and opposite reaction." Some Whites feel guilty about the history of racism and many don't. Does it exist in boxing? I don't think so because boxer's fan bases tend to be 90% the same race as them. If White guilt existed we'd have all these white fans trying to prop up minority boxers just to feel good about themselves.Comment

I don't think it exists in boxing. If anything, boxing fans are the least racially motivated out of ANY sport. You have European soccer fans throwing bananas at black players....in the NBA, it's 'white men can't jump'.....baseball seems to have replaced black american players with black carribbean/latinos......it took the NFL forever to accept anything other than a white quarterback.....the last brother to do anything in lacrosse was Jim Brown - an all-time great NFL running back from the 50s and 60s......I'm not gonna mention the stigma of the average NASCAR fan.....
In boxing if you have a crowd pleasing style you will be respected and revered by most boxing fans. Any white people here doesn't enjoy a James Kirkland fight? Any black people here didn't like Kelly Pavlik's rise to the top of the middleweight division? Exactly.Comment
