Wait, what? Didnt the letter from the WBC published today kind of hint that Chavez was going to be stripped?

lol wait i thought that this " diamond belt" was an award and the fighters that won it did not have to defend it or pay sanc fees for it. it was theirs to keep as an throphy belt. I dont see manny defending his "diamond belt"

Now it's declared vacant??????????????? :RRONTFL: :RRONTFL:

what a joke, this belt was bogus to begin with so I dont know why Sergio was defending it like that for anyways...

defend the Ring MW belt and thats it.

good move by Martinez, now if I was him or his promoter, I would look into GBP or TopRank. Dibella hasn't serve him for anything good.

IDK about the "defend" thing, I don't think that's possible, however the WBC Diamond belt was charging some fees to Martinez so at least by dropping it he's not giving more money to the WBC.

The WBC will not care about this at all. They have Floyd at WW, and if Floyd leaves the belt or gets stripped, they have Pac, Ortiz, Berto etc. Then they have the wealthy Klitshckos at HW, they have Canelo and JCC jr at JMW-MW. Etc.

They do not care about Sergio. I expect some kind of article from WBC explaining their BS and empty words for Sergio, and the fans, to save face. They will try to legitimize what's been going on, by mentioning cute little numbers and rankings.

*** the WBC they don't care about Sergio because he doesn't have a big fanbase and isn't a big name. The Ring title should be the only belt around IMO. *** all these other titles, wbc, wba, wbo, ibf, ibo, nba, nabf, abc, def, ghi, jkl, mno, pqr, stu, vwx, yz.
