The WBA does the same crap with the regular and super champion belts, just to collect more fees. Watered down belts that are meaningless

LMAO....they [HBO] said that Zibik wasn't on Martinez' level and they would not approve the fight. HBO doesn't want Pirog on their network, Martinez is trying to make fights, no one else wants to accommodate.

I'm happy Sergio is gonna stop being diplomatic and give WBC the middle finger. TBH, he should have done it a lot sooner, but better now than never. WBC keeps playing games with all these ****ing belts, and Sergio is not the only victim of Sulaiman's bull**** antics. I wish every fighter who's been wronged, would stand up and make this guy responsible for his actions. He stays scheming and these fighters stay ignorant, WAKE THE **** UP!!

The only thing I can say to Sergio is, just keep fighting, and keep tryin to get THE guys at 154/160. Get at Cotto/Alvarez/Kirkland and Sturm/Geale/Lee/Chavez Jr. If fighters are ducking you, then try to make the best fights POSSIBLE. Macklin is a good fight, now next time out, try to get Lee or Geale. Then, fight Sturm or Kirkland(if he continues winning). **** the belts, just try to get worthy opponents.

In the record books it will show Chavez Jr. as the WBC middleweight champion and not Sergio...what a joke!!!

I understand Sergio's frustration but why not just be an active fighter and forge his own legacy. He seem's so hell bent on fighting the "cash cows" (Floyd, Pac, Cotto, JC Jr) and should focus on his own path. Waiting for the top dawgs and only fighting twice a year isn't gonna cut it. He could've defended against Zbik off air and kept the damn belt if he cared so much about it.

And to JC Jr's defense, why the hell is Sergio so obsessed about fighting a pedestrian so called "middleweight champ"? There are far more challenges and belt holders @ 160 like Sturm, Pirog, Geale or young bucks like Proksa, Golovkin and Macklin that enhance his middleweight supremacy more than JC Jr. Quit the politics and fight more often Sergio!
