It wasn't the 12th round for all of those mentioning Floyd-Oscar. It was at the very end of the 11th. Floyd was on the right side of the ropes and Oscar caught him with a CLEAN right hand that snapped Floyd's head back.
Just thought I'd point that out.
Floyd rarely gets hit flush in the later rounds, though. His tendencies have shown that he has a greater vulnerability in the initial three or four rounds than the later ones.
Zab Judah, Oscar de la Hoya, Shane Mosley and you could perhaps throw Hatton in there...as guys who had Floyd uneasy in the first rounds. At the very least the first three that I mentioned landed bombs early in the fight.Last edited by TintaBoricua; 12-29-2011, 10:19 AM.

According to that British poster The Weebler (or whatever his screen name is) Hatton would have landed 10 hayemakers on Floyd in the 12th round had that evil Joe Cortez not smashed Ricky's head against the turnbuckle.

Of course he has. This is Boxing. Of course he's been hit cleanly past the th round in his 42 fights.
I'm not sure he's been hurt past the 6th round, though.
Oscar buzzed him in the late rounds If I remember correctly and Castillo landed some good shots in the second half of the first fight.
But being legitimately hurt I'm not too sure.
