I agree that 500K is too much for Dirrel
Some world champions don't even make that kind of money.

- Dirrel isn't a champion
- Dirrel can't fill a stadium
- Will a lot of people will actually PAY to see a PPV with Dirrel in action?

That being said...
I wouldn't mind seeing Bute-Dirrell if Interbox isn't able to book a fight with one of these fighters :
- Ward (might not happen)
- Froch (might happen)
- Kessler (fighting Stieglitz)
- Stieglitz (fighting Stieglitz)
- Hopkins (might be a good plan B if Bute-Froch doesn't happen)
- Martinez (has no reason to go uo in weigth)

Listen, no one's saying this fight shouldn't happen, but in all honesty, Bute does need to fight a "live" opponent.

Go back and look through some boxingscene archives. You'll see that people yelled foul "before" Bute's fights.
