Comments Thread For: Peterson: Khan Must Face Reality, Next Time I'll KO Him!

World Boxing Association and International Boxing Federation junior welterweight champion, Lamont Peterson, believes that he can knock out former champion Amir Khan in a rematch. He has also stressed that his contentious win against Khan was not a stroke of luck and he can knock him out to clear up all doubts, Dave Anderson of the Daily Mirror reports.

He may just be able to do it. He had Khan hurt a few times. But Khan has the workrate to steal important close rounds.

In that case I assume a rematch will be announced by the end of the week.

won clearly? I have yet to see a single card that had you winning at all even after the point deductions (aside from those two hometown refs of course)

Khan wins a rematch. Peterson had a good win, but it was close. The crowd helped him clearly. Boxers usually win rematches in close fights.

Khan made quite a few mistakes. IMO when he sat down on his shots, he hurt Peterson.

If Khan stands and trades, he gets hurt more. There is a reason why he ran from Peterson. Peterson is the stronger of the two. Not arguable.

If he attacks the head as affectively as he did the body the first time, he might be able to. Khan's saving grace is his conditioning, if it wasn't for that he might have lost against Peterson regardless of the ref.
