I disagree. That is actually a pretty good fight, and likely a pickem fight, especially in Germany. Sturm is skilled and experienced, and Pirog is skilled yet largely untested. I wouldn't bet too much on that fight. Doubt it happens though, Pirog is more willing than Sturm I'd say. Good to see him willing to fight anywhere, if that is really the case.

I hope Sturm mans up and carries through with what he said, but I have my doubts.

Pirog said he would prefer Russia, but he's willing to go to Germany to fight Sturm.
I agree, and it could be a great fight, I hope its not just talk.

It sounds like Pirog is serious, especially if he is willing to travel.

If this fight happens I would hope Showtime would pick this fight up it's a good match up for the 160 titles.I got Pirog beating down Sturm in a late TKO win.

Sturm won't fight Pirog. If he did, I can see Sturm outboxing Pirog for a while until Pirog lands the right and Sturm goes down for the count. But again, Sturm wouldn't fight Pirog even in Germany, even if they promised to give him the decision if he finished 12 rounds

I'd actually give Sturm a good chance, shame he doesn't believe in himself enough to take the fight. They'll pluck some random Japanese guy off of a whaling boat and face him instead.

Seems like DiBella isn't as sure as you, Mathed.

Please Pirog tax that a$$...Sturm has been hiding in Europe, holding that belt hostage for far too long!

FINALLY, these MW's are talking about fighting each other instead of the bum of the month club members.....I hope Sturm takes the fight....it wouldn't be a good look for him if he turned this fight down
