Khan has no room to speak on Mayweather, Pacquiao, or anyone else, when he can't dominate a guy like Lamont Peterson. Khan is not near as good as I thought he might be.

if you're a fan of manny pacquiao, you need to just shut up.

It' not even about what he has said here, although you are right, he does state the obvious.

It's about calling a 25 year old former world champion boxer, one who was being talked about as a potential opponent for the top two p4p boxers in the world, who has just lost a fight a ''nobody''.

The late fans of the great era must be turning in their graves and the ones still alive, i hope to god they never have to interract with a modern day boxing fan. A fighter loses a fight and he gets completely written off. It's just the way the majority of modern day boxing fans are, and they, mark my words will be the root cause of the death of boxing.

the same can easily be said about khan making the remarks he made. do u think old fans would appreciate a guy like khan? i guarantee u they wouldnt. his comments on this and other occasions are quite embarrassing and they arent even entertaining. i mean seriously, saying that ur essentially ready to fight a top named fighter because hes probably not what he used to be? who could respect that. whether its the truth or not, u dont say **** like that.

Khan is hoping the same thing that happened to Tyson happens to Floyd, he must have been taking advice from Lennox.

Hes going to county not prison. And Las Vegas county jail is closer to the Hilton than it is to Folsom. They even got slot machines in there. Lol

Boxers throughout history have been known to talk crap, a lot of crap. In different ways to others, some have their own way and others have their own. We are talking about professional boxing here, PROFESSIONAL BOXING. These are grown men fighting it out against other grown men to be the best in the world, when only a select few do become the best in the world. **** get's said, but this is Boxing. You think that other boxers calling out the best in the world has only started happening recently? It's been happening from day one of the sport and it's a dog eat dog sport. Of course you and i may think a certain boxer is wrong to call out someone who we think is on a another level to him but we have to remember, this guy is a professional who wants to be the best in the world, even if the fans think he will never be the best in the world, him as a professional HAS TO BELIEVE HE CAN.

I have never understood why so many people take what boxers say so seriously. These are grown men who aren't looking to make any friends, they are looking to be the number one man in their divison and be the number one man in the sport. And to be fair to Khan, even though he has said some disrespectfull things about FMJ, if you look he also clearly has a massive amount of respect for him.

In Khan's case, i think we can all agree that he is not a very intelligent person, but so are so many boxers. Of course you get a few who break the mould but it's exactly that, a mould already been set. They say stuff to get their name involved at the very top, but come on, we as boxing fans should know better than everyone that words dont mean anything in Boxing!

Wether older boxing fans would appreciate Khan or not, i do not know, but one thing i can guarentee you is they certainly would not right him off the way our generation has done even if he already had 5 losses under his name after the career he has so far had at the age of 25 years old.
