hey dummy, this video is like 9 years old,, cotto was fighting at 140 back then,,,c'mon son floyd has ducked anyone who was good during his era,,, cotto,margarito,paul williams,berto,pacman,clottey, his last three fights were a security guard, his baby mama, and a sucker punched ortiz(ortiz did deserve it) your only as good as your comp and floyds resume is sub par at best

U do realise this is an ancient video right!? Back when Cotto was just coming up in the 140lb division..... He talked about a Hatton fight too, Ricky was in the studio saying "Nah let it build and it will be huge later..."



Anyway Floyd is the better fighter but there was a time when id have given Cotto every chance, he had the perfect style to beat Floyd Mayweather and was still quick, hitting Very Hard and had very little mileage on his clock

Now? Not so much.....

Considering Floyd's level of competition since De La Hoya, I can't find any guy on that list that Cotto couldn't beat (he beat Mosley in '07 as well). Mayweather I believe has an advantage, but I think it's foolish to not want to see this fight, yet be excited about an Ortiz fight prior? Jesus Christ lol...

I love Cotto, is one of my favourite fighters of the last decade but I think the fight would have been roughly as Mayweather vs. Bruseles, only a little more competitive.

My boy Cotto gets whipped at any weight any year. He has to make too many calculations in that fight. While he's thinking Floyd will be landing. At 140 it would be especially brutal.
