Does Maidana Hit harder Then Berto

I was just thinking about this the other day , IMHO, I think Maidana does hit Harder than Berto by a Mile. You can tell when he Connects it always seems to Daze his Opponent

Yes I rewatching the ortiz vs maidana fight and now on the berto vs ortiz fight.

Got me wondering does Maidana hit harder then berto. Cause maidana swoled up Ortiz and berto didnt even bruise Ortiz.

Maidana's slow-motion azz does not punch harder than Berto...

now ask yourself, who has maidana knocked out or come close to knocking out in his last say 5 fights? maidana does not hit that hard. i hate when ppl act like he does. he couldnt even knockout a shot chop chop. i guarantee u, berto would have ko'ed him .

You're on crack if you feel that way. Maidana isn't big at all at his weight. Berto on the other hand is a big mother, he's just really stocky. He would be pushing Maidana around all day. It be like man vs a boy.

Okay, I'll give you the inside fighting. If Maidana could get inside it would be a great formula for victory, just how he busted Khan up. The problem is I doubt that happens. Yes, Bertos ring generalship sucks but there's a few reasons for it. The guys he fights are usually taller so they have a longer jab to keep him at bay and just overall he isn't a very strong fighter with an average jab. Against Maidan he would be aggressive, like Khan but he's obviously stronger than Khan and despite being about the same height the structure of body size would allow him to really press the action. I don't give Marcos much chance against any of the elite fighters at 147 but that's okay I never gave Khan much of a chance there either.

Hey knocked out Petrov and Cayo in his last 5 fights. Rocked Khan and had him running the whole fight, hurt Morales and had his eye all swollen. He may have not KO'd Corley but he did drop him.

The debate isn't who is more skilled because Berto clearly is. I just believe Maidana has the harder puncher.

Maidana is clearly the more powerful puncher.
Berto is clearly the physically-stronger individual.

Maidana has gotten this far solely on his power punching. That speaks for itself. Berto hits hard, but he's not a puncher like Maidana. He's much faster, and stronger too.
