I thought Berto looked very off in the first fight; he was lazy, didn't look like he wanted to fight and allowed himself to be pushed around. Even still, he floored Ortiz twice and came very close to stopping him.

I think Berto has it in him to end the fight early, he just needs to show the hunger to do it this time.

This will be a war of attrition. If Ortiz comes with the same mind-frame as the first one, then Berto is going to have real issues on his hands. If Ortiz is able to channel the energy from his Floyd fight and come back "like a man possessed" lol, then it doesn't matter what form of Berto shows up. It was a somewhat back-and-forth fight, but then Ortiz's superior will and stamina took Berto's heart. The only thing that Ortiz needs to do this time around, is throw to the body more often. I'm sure Garcia will get him into the mental shape he needs to be in.

Bushbaby, I got 10M on Ortiz. PM to confirm.

Berto fought a bum his last time out and looked all but impressive. Ortiz, on the other hand, gave Floyd a decent fight until he lost his composure and fouled Floyd.

Berto tried to fight Ortiz style instead of his way.

I agree, Berto wins this one.

If Berto inside game is still huggy bear I pick Ortiz. The fact is Berto can't fight on the inside he looks to grab instead of punching.he let the fight slip away on the inside.

                  imo
berto is the last person in the world to have any hunger at all. they have been feeding him bums for 1 mil. paydays, now that he's faced some tougher opp. he looked less than stellar.
i'm not sure that his motivation will be a lot more than to show up and hope that there is a wimpy ortiz in the other corner. what really bothers me is that berto relies too much on his opponents sucking, rather than improving his own game.
when ortiz beat him he accused ortiz of taking illegal substances, despite the fact that he gassed in the late rounds, lost his legs occasionally and just barely survived it to the final bell.
zaveck could also hit him at will with 41% accuracy, and that should be cause for concern to berto and his team. particularly if they want a floyd fight in the future. floyd would probably have a career high connect rate on berto.... 60% and up.
