Very good post sir. But I still think that Berto wanted the rematch. There are some fighters that are crushed after a loss, yet their are some that actually benifit from them, I believe that Berto benifited from the loss has gotten his conditioning up to world class level & will win the fight as such.

Furthermore in a boxing era where fighters are not willing to avenge losses, I will not try to codemn Berto for taking this rematch. I admire it in fact.

where did you see this world class level conditioning from Berto? he looked the same to me against Zaveck and Berto had to take the Ortiz fight HBO would not have paid him the million per fight he used to get

            ehh money maybe

i think more people are favouring berto than ortiz in the rematch from what i've gathered not exactly going out on a limb to favor him

i slightly favor him but for me it's still pretty much 50/50

anybody else think this fight could end up being an anti climax

i mean we'll all getting excited to see it because of how the first one turned out but in truth no one foresaw that being so epic and it was only really that way because ortiz was so determined and brought the fight to berto

berto's is gonna try and flurry then hold way more in this fight i think he may even outpoint him doing that

that being said the last few outings from both fighters have been fun to watch i just think we may be carried away thinking it could be as good if not better than the first but it may not play out like that

bet is nice and all but did you actually see this new and improved Berto with world class conditioning in a fight or training/sparing video? guy looks exactly the same boxer who got tired after the 6th
