Cleverly will defend his title for the third time against an as yet confirmed opponent on February 25 in Cardiff. One of the names which has been mentioned as a possible future opponent is veteran WBC light-heavyweight champion Bernard Hopkins. But Hopkins, 46, first faces a rematch against Chad Dawson, after their previous fight in October was ruled a no-contest.

Cleverly needs to just shut up. No one listens to what he says anymore. All he says is he wants to fight everyone when in reality he is too chicken to fight anyone above C level. He mentioned Shumenov's name and when Shumenov said he would, Cleverly went into hiding and started calling out someone else again. He nows mentions Hopkins name because he knows Hopkins is fighting someone else. Cleverly is a joke.... He was gifted the the WBO title from Braehmer...
