Why they love a grunting, low blowing, thumbing, holding, butting, acting, all-in-wrestler, I don't know, and don't care.

I've only seen about 4-5 Calzaghe fights, and none when he was at his peak, but he was the most energetic bigger man I've ever seen, other than Roy Jones, and had an uncanny ability to adjust and rapidly assert his dominance. If you don't see that, you must know little about boxing.
I have seen many more of Calzaghes fights then that, and cannot see him beating Ward the kid is special hate on if you want.

Of course now he's old and has been inactive for too long. But who knows, perhaps he can re-start his career and face some tune-ups?
Daggum is laughing at you insecure white morons that have to PRETEND The Welsh Rabbit is anything but a coward and a slapping joke.

is that calzaghe talking or the coke???? either way he needs to STFU with his quitting ass......

he retire, he quit, he's out the game, he shouldn't be talking about how he'd beat this guy or that guy when he isn't even in the game anymore......... if he is going to talk like that, then he needs to put down the coke spoon and lace them back up again, other than that, he should just be a fan and stfu about fighting anyone anymore, since he aint going to do it, fight anymore, we don't need any commentary from him about how he'd beat a guy, if he's not going to show it inside the ring, and will never back it up, there is no need other than him feeding his cokehead ego, he's nothing but cokehead living off his past accomplishments..... thinking he's relevant now........ keep the nose to the glass joe and stick to your memories, no need for your coked out fantasies.......

              ******* is a helluva drug.........

If Calzaghe was as good as he or his fans make him out to be then he would have fought in America YEARS before he did.

Right now id give a prime Calzaghe the edge, close call though,Ward is a special talent,i think they would bring out the best in each other, although Ward might do a hopkins and be a boring, cheating *****

It's obvious Joe was a phenomenal fighter. One would have to be delusional to deny it. But, I too agree that he should have ventured out of the UK a lot earlier, say when Jones was still himself and not washed up.

Only a sheltered WIMP sees Joe as a phenomenal fighter.
