Khan set himself up for failure. All he could talk about was beating Mayweather. The guy's ego outweighs his boxing skills. He has zero inside fighting ability and over looked his opponenet. Now he's whining like a biitch.

Fact is, even if you take away the point deductions and the BS "knockdown", Peterson won that fight. He'll win the rematch too if Khan doesn't work on his inside game, footwork and counter puching.

well i think the fight could have gone either way after the 2 point deduction. the ref wasnt the best to say the least. but khan can only blame himself for not making sure he won the fight. did a bit too much running imo.

that's an understatement. as soon as khan saw he was losing exchanges with peterson (in the early rounds), he had no plan B at all and started running & pushing full time. i feel the criticism towards khan is well deserved, as that's the only way the kid's going to improve. ball licking is not going to bring him anywhere. he fights too much like in the amateurs preferring his speed, size and reach to score more hits, but in pro boxing it doesn't work that way.

Nah, Khan's team was just extremely confident about an easy win, just like they were with Pac vs Marquez. Like Roach said vs Marquez, he was expecting Pac to "blast" Marquez out of there, and I'm pretty sure he was expecting the same with Khan against Peterson. Also they went to DC to beat Peterson at his own hometown to make Khan look even better, but everything backfired at them.

what in the world were goldenboy thinking putting Khan into that situation ?

now Amir Khan has lost his titles Lamont Peterson says let him cry -

i would like to hear peoples opinions on this whole situation ??????

              Thanks guys
Peterson was offered to fight in the UK - he said no.
Peterson was offered to fight in alternative US destinations - he said no.

Khan had to fight him in his home town, he had no choice, he was then jobbed and robbed against a fighter who won 4 rounds of a 12 Round fight.

He had no choice? It was an OPTIONAL title defense...

Read what I said, he had no option in terms of the venue, Peterson would not agree to fight anywhere but his home town.

Khan is on video record as saying this, Peterson refused to fight in the UK and refused alternative destinations in the US.

Sure Khan could've not made the fight on that basis, but credit to him, he went to the home fighter's backyard. And what did he get for his trouble?

                  Robbed.

                  Lesson learned.
