      marquez was simply outboxed and outworked by pacq, watch the replay of the whole fight ok not just the 5th and 7th round (the only rounds marq won) even in the championship rounds marq did nothing to claim that he won.. grow up mexi****s all your so-called greats are now in the pacquiao's mexicue stick

        I said that at one point in an attempt to be nice.....but realistically I think it's a push to even consider him a HOF fighter.

        Isn't Juan Diaz his best win?

          Marquez simply can't beat Manny no matter what he does.

          He tries to be aggressive, then he gets put on his @ss and possible KTFO.

          He tries to counter and be cautious, then Manny just outpoints him by landing more and being the aggressor.

          IMO Manny made this fight harder than it had to be by trying to outbox Manny. Funny thing is he fought Marquez fight and still won by 2-3 rounds.

              and sadly that footnote will read:

              "Judge Burt Clements admitted to the world that he erroneously scored the first round 10-7 instead of 10-6 for Pacquiao, which means anyone with half a brain knows Pacquiao really won that fight."

                i think manny did that purposely to mess up marquez' mind. You think about it; Marquez absolutely knows he lost the 3rd fight [and the first 2 as well] which is why he hasnt filed his protest.

                What really will irk him is the fact that he was outboxed by pacquiao in the 3rd fight - which means that he will know that there was absolutely no way he could ever beat pacquiao after 8 years of careful analysis and dissection.

                I mean, Manny has pretty much beaten marquez in every way possible;

                first as a one handed, one dimensional, inexperienced fighter [115-110]

                second, as a weight drained fighter [115-112]

                and just to rub salt into the wound, he decided he'd outbox marquez for a comfortable decision [116-112]

                  marquez beat him 3 times..manny was fed with weight drained damaged goods that's why everyone thought that he was a something he really isn't...you give him one fighter who is able to punch back he's looking like an amateur..he has no skills,no defense period!!...a fat old marquez could beat him imagine what a fresh fighter who's not coming in over weight or drained would do to congressman

                    Please name me three judges better than Dave Moretti, Duane Ford, Harold Lederman. All of these guys scored those fights in Manny's favor.

                    Also, all three have decades of experience.....and have judge some of the biggest fights in the history of the sport, but some how you are more knowledgeable than them?

                      and just to add, the pacquiao puzzle has never been solved.

                      in fact, the marquez fight shows that the pacquiao puzzle is even more complex than previously thought. because to go along with his speed, angles and chin, he just outboxed one of the best boxers of the last decade.
