Marquez diffenitely know how to fight Pacquiao but still he lost twice and drew once. No need to argue, it was really close and could go either way. To be completely subjective, there are two things you look at when comparing fighters. How they do against each other, and how they do against every one else.

Pac does better against his competition than Marquez by a lil bit.

Against each other they are as close to even as you can find.

I think Marquez has got the better of Marquez by about 1%

I laugh every time a topic like this emerges. Marquez haven't solved anything. He got owned by Pacquiao. Marquez did not win. Marquez fans are just swayed by their emotions. I hate Pacquiao and neither I am a Marquez fan. But let's give credit where credit is due. Pacquiao is the clear winner.

Marquez took more facial damage in his last 3 fights against lightweights. Pacquiao is the one with a boo boo on his lip from eating right hands and uppercuts to the jaw, and that bone deep gash on his eye from lunging in with his head like a desperate amateur who knew he was losing.

jmm never got a win from pac as erik did some years back...

but a lot of fans do like and love to equate jmm to pac more than erik...
